SLJ | Activity 1: Making a Racket [4 points] |
This activity was about Venus and Serena Williams. I had to watch two videos about both of them. This was kind of hard because I didn't know about them but I had to talk about three things I learned from watching the video, I also had to write about what I'd like to know about them. The activities I did were fun because they give more understandings and more information for me to learn.

ReplyDeleteWell done for completing so many of the Summer Learning Journey activities. The videos were interesting, weren’t they? Serena Williams has won $84 million in total from competitions and Novak Djokovic has won over $130 million just from competitions. So Serena Williams has actually earnt less than male tennis players. If you had the chance to play a sport professionally, what sport would it be? I would want to play hockey as I love playing hockey and it would be amazing to represent New Zealand.
As it is the holiday period many of the Summer Learning Journey team are currently away from work and are spending some time with their friends and family. This means that you would get many encouraging comments over this time. We want you to keep blogging and we will comment on as many of your posts as we can when everyone is back at work!
