Water safety | Swimming |

L.I: To learn water safety

First we started of by wearing life jackets when we got our life jackets on we had to get in the water. When we got in the water we had to make a chain when we were wearing our life jacket we had to make a chain to make a chain you just have to hold each other and you have to frog kick to move but you don't kick or you might hit the person in front of you. The next thing we did was huddle. To do Huddle you have to put your hand under someone arm and was was how we learned how to stay at the same place by doing the huddling. When we finished that we had to do pencil dive. The pencil dive is you have to hold your life jacket and you have to put you other arm at the back of your head. When your hand is in place you have to take a big step and get in the water that was what we learned at swimming and it was our last week. I enjoyed it and had fun.

Maths | Bomb Grid |

L.I: What is flip, slide, turn, or Rotation, Reflection, Translation.

This week for maths we had to make our own bomb grid my bomb grid was a five squared box and I had two bombs in the box but first I had to find a successful path. I find a successful path by drawing a line to see where I will place the bomb when I did the successful path I did it before I added the bombs. I knew were to put the bombs because I left two squares out to put my bombs in it.

Writing | Advertisement |

L.I: To create a persuasive advertisement.

Writing was about doing our advertisement my advertisement was a poster I made a poster about the Ferrari f40 on the image it shows what I wanted to sell and how much it costs. We learned how to do this by doing emotive text and loaded words. Loaded words is like word that can describe the object or thing. Emotive text is text that makes you feel.

Swimming | Water safety |

L.I: To learn more skills about swimming.

Swimming was about learning about more skills. The first skill we did was freestyle. Freestyle is pointing your hands straight and put your hands together then start doing then when you kick yourself you start circling you arms and that is how you do freestyle. That was the first skill but it was even harder because we had to do laps and the laps we had to do was three laps after the three laps. The second skill we did was backstroke that was is the same as doing freestyle but you have to do it the opposite way that was hard as well because we had to do laps again after we did that we when to our third skill but it was races. The race was you had to vers three people and when you win you had to vers the winners and I was one of them when we raced I came last but I still tried my best.

Jamie Wall | Duffy role model |

Duffy role model was about Jamie Will he was grown up in Wellington when he was a kid his friends parents gave him a book that was called men in black. The book he got was about the all blacks and the players and how much tries they got when he got the book he read it and read it until the book was finished, when he finished it he wanted to read it until it got stuck in his head so when someone asks him about all blacks he will get the answers right. Jamie Will told us that someone told him if he knows all blacks then Jamie Will said yes then the people asked him questions then when he got it right that was when he got his job he worked for news hub, maori television, and stuff. These were the people he was working for and he can also travel to places and only his work can pay for his flight and he has to write about what it is like and he write about all blacks and other teams.

Swimming | Water safety |

L.I: To improve our swimming skills and learn more.

We started with swimming by doing streamline. Streamline is easy to do. Streamline is easy because you have to put your arms together and push yourself in the water and when you push yourself you have to start kicking your feet. The Second skill we did was freestyle. Freestyle is something that you put your hands like a wheel and then kick your feet that is how you do freestyle. The last skill was backstroke. Backstroke was the last skill and it was the hardest because it was like freestyle but you have to try and do it on your back that was hard but I tried my best to do it and that was the last skill.

Writing | Advertisement |

L.I: To create a persuasive advertisement

Writing was about planning our persuasive advertisement first we had to pick what we want to sell. I wanted to sell a ferrari f40. On the plan I had to write the title of what it's going to be and I had to write a description of how it looks add I had to make up a cost that is realistic lastly I had to do the imagery. I have to sell my ferrari f40 but I had to do all the things so when I do it all people will buy it. We also had to learn about loaded words and emotive text. The loaded words was for the description so I can describe the ferrari f40. Emotive text was words that makes you feel.

Maths

L.I: What is flip, slide, turn, or rotation, reflection, translation.

Maths was about finding a successful path on the bomb grids we had to show the path by adding arrows to show the successful path. When we finished doing the successful path we had to write sentences to explain the successful path in the sentences we had to explain how the arrows moved the vocabulary we had to use was turn, rotate, clockwise, anticlockwise, and 1 quarter or 90 degrees turn. The other vocabulary was slide, up, down, left, and right.

Cybersmart | Lever |

L.I: To apply print design rules.

Cybersmart was about talking about one of a simple machine the simple machine I did was lever. Lever is something that lifts big loads on a beam and there is something that is called the fulcrum and the fulcrum is the thing that holds all the things up. The last thing is effort. Effort is something that pulls down the load on a beam. On the image it shows the definition of what a lever is and a example.

Inquiry | Screw |

L.I: To learn about screw

inquiry was about screw and we learned screw by talking about it and watching a video after that we made a google draw with the definition and other questions. We filled in the questions after we did all that we had to go outside to make a screw so we know what it does. When we were outside we nearly made it work but there was only some water that was going down we tried to move our angle but the water was still not working after that one group got it right and water was coming out and it looked amazing. On the image it shows a example of what the screw does and how the water comes out.

Kiwi can

L.I: To learn about dealing with challenges.

Kiwi can was about dealing with challenges the theme was resilience. The topic was dealing with challenges and our catchphrase  was "kiwi can says, don't go over it, don't go under it just do it". That was our catch phrase then we got to our energizer.

Energizer
The energizer was called command. That was a game that we had to listen to the teacher and she will same something and we have to do it and if we do the wrong thing we sit in the middle. That game was easy because I never got out because I was listening to what she was saying and I copied what she said and that game was fun after that we talked about challenges.

Challenges
The challenges we were talking about what challenges were hard like in the playground or playing a game and people came up with some hard challenges about games, monkey bars and other things after we talked about we got into our activity.

Activity
The activity was making a plus sign by drawing it and that was hard because we had to draw it down by looking at a picture and trying to figure out how to connect the pieces together so it can be a plus sign. That was a hard game but I was coping with the challenge.
