Why I want to visit Tane Mahuta
Why I want to visit Tāne Mahuta
1.I want to visit Tāne Mahuta because I want to see if it is bigger than the Sky Tower.
2. When I go to see the tree Tāne Mahuta I don't want to make diseases so I'm going wash my feet or shoes so I don't kill the trees.
3. I want to go Tāne Mahuta because I like watching the leaves rushing down on to me and feel the breeze in the forest.
Hello again Mote, it's Billy and I am back to read your activity. Well done on completing another!
ReplyDeleteI would love to stand at the bottom of this tree and stare upwards. It would make you feel so small. I would imagine it falling and imagine the sound that would ring out across the land. It would be an enormous THUMP! Birds would fly off in all directions.
Great idea about washing your feet and shoes, that Kauri Dieback problem seems to only be getting worse.
I'd like to stretch my arms around it's trunk and see how far around I can get.
No wonder they call it the 'Lord of the Forest'.
Imagine having a tree house on this Kauri. How cool do you think it would be?
Thanks, Billy.
Hi Mote!
ReplyDeleteIts Florence again. I will be commenting on all of your SLJ posts. I like your blog post about the Tane Mahuta visit.
I like how you said in the last reason why you wanted to visit the Tree, you added descriptive words like "Rushing". You are very talented with your blog writing. I think you should work on re reading your post to make sure everything makes sense.
Blog you later!
